About Suzanna Stein

Suzanna Stein is a qualified,  independent Family Mediation Council Accredited Family Mediator, and practices to  Family Mediation Council standards and is regulated by their Code of Practice. She is a Child Inclusive Mediator recognised as a Family Mediator by the Family Mediators Association, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group (ADRg) and is a Member of ADRg’s Family Register. She is also a member of Resolution, the organisation for solicitors and Family Justice Professionals.

A King’s College London graduate, a former Inner London English teacher and counsellor, Suzanna was Head of Counselling and Head of Student Support at the University of Greenwich. Her background is in counselling, supervision and consultancy, mediation, stress management and conflict resolution and working with people whose personal relationships have broken down.

Suzanna is highly experienced in dealing with conflict situations and has resolved many disputes successfully using Alternative Dispute Resolution. Her skills and training will help you to resolve your matters and agree your proposals on separation, in a comfortable and non threatening, informal setting. Her work is lawyer supervised.

Family Mediators can come from a variety of professional backgrounds- the law, counselling/therapy and social work are the three most common areas. A qualified Family Mediator with counselling knowledge and conflict resolution skills, and networked to family lawyers in London and Kent, Suzanna will provide you with an optimum environment to assist you in a cost effective and timely way.

Suzanna has been invited to be a Family Mediation Judge at the National Mediation Awards 2022, which celebrates excellence amongst  family, commercial, civil, and  community mediators, mediation trainers and providers in the UK.

Suzanna is also a PPC- a Professional Practice Consultant (FMA)- offering supervision to other Family Mediators and a CIM- a Child Inclusive Mediator.
